WinRE stands for Windows Recovery Environment and is a bootable applications that will automate repairs that the end users may not have knowledge of doing themselves. This can include things such as repairs from the command line or running advanced or hidden settings in a basic application. It is possible to boot Microsoft's WinRE as though booting from the Repair Options in the Windows Vista Installation Disk but my intention is to recreate my own program that will run the features but also contain a way of opening the Microsoft Repair Options for advanced users. This means that it can cut down costs on a business and also makes it more efficent for the users and the business as a whole lot of problems will be solved in 30 seconds instead of having to bring the computer back to the business for the business to erase and reinstall the harddrive thus losing valuable data.
